The Mind-Body Connection LLC ("the School"), 952 N Central Ave, Upland, CA 91786, (909) 488-4622, a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School (RYS 300), and the student named at enrollment ("the Student") agree as follows.
The 300-Hour Viniyoga Teacher Training (the "Training") runs about 10 months, beginning on Monday, October 26, 2026 with Living Yoga: From Philosophy to Real Life, a three-week introduction. It is taught live online by the School's faculty and includes:
Some sessions of the Training are also offered to the public as separate courses. Students in those courses may attend the same sessions.
Yoga Alliance requires that at least 270 of the 300 hours be completed live with faculty. The Student agrees to attend live sessions. Every session is recorded and available in the student portal for review. Recordings do not count as live hours. If the Student misses a live session, they must complete a make-up arranged with faculty (a live make-up session, or an assignment reviewed by faculty) for the hours to count toward certification. The School keeps attendance records.
The School may change session dates or times when necessary and will give reasonable notice. Sessions cancelled by the School will be rescheduled or made up so that the full program hours are delivered. A session may be taught by another qualified faculty member when needed.
If the School cancels or postpones the Training before it begins, the Student may choose a full refund of everything paid or a transfer to the next training.
Joining after the start. A Student who enrolls after October 26, 2026 catches up on the sessions already held through the recordings and the make-up process in section 2. For refunds, "percent completed" still counts from October 26, 2026.
The Student completes 30 practicum hours teaching on their own (for example at a studio or one-on-one), records them in the practicum log the School provides (a Google Sheet shared with faculty), and brings their experience to the practicum discussions. Faculty may review the log at any time.
The Student's responsibility. Completing every requirement of the Training, including the live hours, make-ups, assessments and the 30 practicum hours, and keeping track of their own progress, is the Student's responsibility. A Student who does not complete the requirements does not receive the certificate, and not completing the requirements is not a reason for a refund (refunds are covered only by section 7). Practicum hours that are not real or not accurately recorded do not count; if the School finds that hours were misreported, the requirement is not met and no certificate is issued.
To receive the School's 300-hour certificate, the Student must: complete the Training's live hours (including make-ups), complete the practicum, complete any assessments faculty assign, and have paid tuition in full. Practicum hours may be completed up to 6 months after the Training ends. A Yoga Alliance 200-hour certification is required to register the 300-hour with Yoga Alliance. The School issues its certificate based on faculty assessment of competency; finishing the sessions alone does not guarantee certification. This is a teacher training. It is not a yoga therapy (C-IAYT) certification and does not qualify the Student to call themselves a yoga therapist. Registering with Yoga Alliance (for example as an RYT 500), and paying Yoga Alliance's fees, is the Student's responsibility; the School provides the certificate and the documentation Yoga Alliance asks for.
To withdraw, the Student sends written notice (email is fine) to the School. The withdrawal date is the date the notice is received. "Percent completed" is measured by calendar time: the share of the Training's scheduled weeks that have passed on the withdrawal date, whether or not the Student attended.
Before the first weekend module starts (the Saturday the Training's first monthly weekend module begins):

On withdrawal, access to the student portal, recordings, and remaining sessions ends, and no certificate is issued. A Student who withdraws may ask to join a future training; the School decides case by case.
Recordings, handouts, and translations are for the Student's personal study only. The Student will not share, download for others, record, post, or resell any session or material.
Live sessions are recorded, including participants' video and voice when cameras and microphones are on. The Student agrees to this. Recordings are shared only with the students and faculty of the Student's training group.
The Student agrees to treat faculty and classmates with respect, keep what classmates share in sessions confidential, and follow faculty guidance during practice. The School may remove a Student for serious or repeated misconduct after a conversation with the Student; refunds in that case follow section 7.
The Student practices within their own limits, tells faculty about relevant health conditions, and consults a physician as needed. Yoga practice involves physical activity; the Student accepts responsibility for their own participation. A Student who needs an accommodation to take part can ask the School, and the School will work with them in good faith.
The Student agrees to receive emails and texts from the School about the Training (schedules, reminders, Zoom links, billing).
California law applies. Where this Agreement and the School's general Terms and Conditions differ (for example on refunds), this Agreement applies to the Training. This Agreement, together with the School's posted Terms and Privacy Policy, is the full agreement between the Student and the School about the Training.
Agreed by checkbox at enrollment (name, email, date, and time are recorded with the order).
